Ford Punks Would-Be Speed Daters with Sleek 'Stang, Hot Blonde

Have you seen Ford's new "Speed Dating" commercial? It quickly became a favorite here at E3 Spark Plugs. Not only does it feature a sleek, fast car and a gorgeous blonde, it also serves to put a few macho types in their place and elicit a few laughs.

Here's the premise: A series of unsuspecting dudes agree to meet a girl at a coffee shop for a blind date, believing they're auditioning for a new dating show. Upon walking through the doorway, they're psyched to see that she's a gorgeous blonde with a sweet personality to boot. And they’re even more impressed when they see what she's driving - a sleek, candy apple red 2015 Mustang GT.

After a bit of coffee shop small talk, the faux couples head out for a drive and she coyly fiddles with the stick shift, pretending that she's new to being behind the wheel of such a powerful ride. Right on cue, the guys each offer their expert advice. Because, you know, they're guys and guys know how to handle hot cars and hot women.

"Let me drive - I'll show you what this thing can do," one quips.

And right on cue, the blonde revs it up and hands her would-be suitors a bit of comeuppance via high-speed donuts all over an empty parking lot. Turns out the beautiful blonde is actually quite comfortable behind the wheel. After all, she's Prestin Persson, an actress and professional stunt driver. Even the guy who swore he was a "ninja" got appropriately schooled. And that "I'll show you what this thing can do" guy?

"I guess you're showing me how to drive this thing, aren't you?" he humbly asked. Ford released the video just before Valentine's Day and it quickly went viral. And we're guessing Persson's Hollywood career just shifted into overdrive, too.
