The Dodge NHRA Finals presented by Pennzoil at “The Strip” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Oct. 30-Nov. 1 is the first fan-attended event in professional sports in Nevada since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in March. The popular LVMS track is issuing a limited number of tickets to be available for drag racing fans to celebrate the crowning of champions for the 2020 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series as well as the 2020 E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Racing Series. The Strip received a special exemption issued by Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak for a partial lifting of the suspensions established for mass gatherings that were enacted at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The track asks for full compliance with all requirements as setting a proper example is crucial for the state’s efforts to reopen other Las Vegas sports and entertainment venues. All race fans attending the three days of NHRA racing events will be required to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, enter at designate times, and only use restroom and concession facilities in specified areas. Various other requirements also will be asked of those in attendance. The staff at the legendary LVMS facility have spent countless hours to ensure the safety of fans, teams, drivers, and workers. All ticketing will be mobile and all transactions for concessions and souvenirs will be cashless.
This year’s NHRA national event tour comes to an action-packed conclusion at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where 2020 world champions will be crowned in all four Camping World classes (Nitro Funny Car, Top Fuel, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle) as well as in the E3 Spark Plugs Pro Mod Series presented by J&A Service, the Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley Series, the SAMTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock Showdown, and the NHRA Summit Racing Series. Tickets for the Dodge NHRA Finals are available online at lvms.com as well as by calling 1-800-644-4444. The weekend will begin with sportsman qualifying on Friday, Oct. 30th, followed by professional qualifying on Saturday, Oct. 31st and final eliminations on Sunday, Nov. 1st.
