Yep – This here is a stock 1966 Ford Mustang-turned-stretch limousine.
Well, here’s something you don’t see every day – a 1966 custom four-door Ford Mustang limousine. What? You never knew Ford make such a contraption? Well, the company didn’t. But someone did.
Most rides that get turned into limousines are ones with designs that already lend themselves to that stately limo look. Think Lincoln Town Cars, Cadillacs, Mercedes Benzes, etc. Every now and then, someone gets an out-of-the-box creative urge to do something a bit different – Ergo stretch limousine versions of Hummers, Volkswagen Beetles and semi truck cabs.
But a sweet classic, otherwise perfectly stock Pony car? Honestly, we here at E3 Spark Plugs aren’t sure what to think of it. And judging by the online comments, neither is most of the classic car buff world. It seems the vocal majority consider it more automotive travesty than creative ingenuity. At least one guy out there loves it. The stretch Pony that boasts a 289ci V-8 engine with a C4 automatic transmission, AC, power windows and a surprisingly smooth ride for a conversion car recently sold on Ebay for a grand total of $9,438.00 on the 10th bid.
