After sixty years of hosting American drag racing, the Stauffer Family sold Maple Grove Raceway to veteran NHRA racer Kenny Koretsky in the Spring of this year. Located just outside of Reading PA, the fan favorite facility has been home to a NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series event for nearly four decades. The world’s fastest drag racers returned to Brainerd International Raceway over the weekend for the 40th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals. In additional to its ¼ mile dragstrip, Brainerd International Raceway has overlapping 2.5-mile and 3.1-mile road courses.
