E3 Spark Plugs Small Engine Plugs – For More Fuel Economy & Less Emissions

E3 Spark Plugs, with unique DiamondFire technology, deliver higher fuel economy, lower emissions and improve engine performance for all small engines including: blowers, weedeaters, generators, and lawn mowers.  Test results demonstrate a 6-12% improvement in horsepower under typical operations, and increased fuel economy of 3-13%, depending on engine class.  Hydrocarbon emissions in small enngibnes after 50 hours of use was reduced by 42%, and carbon monoxide emissions were reduced up to 58%.  Outdoor power equipment lasts longer and runs stronger because of reduced carbon buildup.

One particularly thrilled customer sent in the following testimonial:

E3 lawn & garden spark plugs can give your lawn mower a power boost and reduce the amount of gas you'll need to complete the job.

My name is David and I just wanted to write E3 Spark Plugs about their magnificent product and the spectacular performance it has provided to my 1998 Lawn Boy (2-Cycle) Push-Mower! My experience began one Thursday evening when I had family arriving to stay at my home that weekend. During the middle of mowing my lawn, the mower started missing terribly and puffing smoke out the air filter. Surely, I thought this was the end of my lawnmower since it was coming to the end of its life-cycle (I have had it for over a decade). After attempting every simple repair to finish the remaining three-quarters of my lawn left to mow, I concluded that it must have been the ‘new’ sparkplug of my old brand that I purchased just this spring in April. It was only the beginning of June. This means I only used my lawnmower approximately 6-8 times already, which isn’t anything for a sparkplug and a regularly maintenance and tuned lawnmower.

Therefore, I went to my local Menards to purchase a new sparkplug for the lawnmower as the last possible resolution to my much needed repair. To my astonishment my sparkplug type was sold out and I needed a new sparkplug today, so I utilized the Menards sparkplug guide to find a comparable sparkplug for my Lawn Boy and it specified your E3.10 Spark Plug. Worried a little about the price, I reviewed the package and all the details that your product provides and I was sold on the ‘Energy, Efficiency, and Ecology’ that is on the back of your package. After getting home and removing the old sparkplug that was already ‘worn’ and replacing it with your E3 Spark Plug, it delivered everything that was promised on your package!

My Lawn Boy took off like it was brand new, with just one pull (instead of at least 3-4 with old sparkplug), I also had to turn down the throttle/choke to nearly half as the mower had way too much power, and I can mow my entire yard on one tank of gas in the lawnmower instead of 1.5 tanks! It’s incredible and my wife loves that I don’t smell like “lawn-mowing” anymore when I come inside like I use to with the old sparkplugs…You can barely even smell or tell I finished mowing my lawn! This product is incredible and I normally never write testimonials. But, your sparkplug has made my old 1998 Lawn Boy into a brand new lawnmower for only around $7! It’s unbelievable and keep up the great work, I have been telling all my neighbors, friends and colleagues about your sparkplug for their lawnmowers!

Thanks for not making lawn mowing a dreaded chore anymore!

Backed by a five year, 100,000-mile warranty, E3 Spark Plugs with DiamondFire technology are also available for most automotive and motorsports applications at automotive retail stores nationwide.  For more information and complete test results, visit www.e3sparkplugs.com.

Hart Wins Again At Glen Helen Raceway

Record crowds packed the grandstands at the legendary Glen Helen short track for Round 9 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Truck series. Over the past two decades, E3 Spark Plugs Racing fans have made annual treks to San Bernardino to watch some of the world’s best truck and motorcycle off road racing. This year was no exception when the Pro Lite Unlimited trucks pulled on track for the penultimate race of the evening. Front row starters Sean Geiser in the ReadyLift/Bully Dog truck and FNTech/Makita’s John Beyer had a sold-out crowd on their feet for the green flag.

At the end of lap one, the Toyota trucks of Geiser and Beyer were running first and second. Last night’s winner Marty Hart in the #15 Lucas Oil/LAMB Energy Ford was in third place just ahead of the MasterCraft Safety/B.F. Goodrich Ford of Matt Loiodice. The Nissan truck of Life Gear/Motul driver Javier Sacio moved to the fifth spot but was soon under fire from the #82 Hart & Huntington/mavTV Toyota of Chris Brandt. Hart wasted little time getting by Beyer to take over second place and Brandt disposed of Sacio as a full course caution flew for the burning truck of Corey Sisler.

At the restart, Geiser brushed the wall with his Bully Dog Toyota causing him to roll over on the outside of turn two. This brought out the second full course caution of the night. Track workers quickly rolled Geiser’s truck back to its wheels dropping the pole sitter to the back of the pack. When the green flag flew, Brandt moved his Hart & Huntington/mavTV Toyota up to third. At the competition yellow, Hart was up front, with Loiodice running in second, Brandt was third, Adam Wik had moved the #11 LAT Racing Oil/King Shocks Chevrolet to fourth, and Beyer rounded out the top five.

Loiodice would spin to the inside of turn one allowing Brandt to take the white flag in second. On the final lap, Brandt got a great run out of turn four and going into turn five pulled alongside Hart. The duo drag raced the final stretch of the very rough Glen Helen track with Brandt nearly taking Hart at the line. Hart had just enough of an edge to hold on for the win ahead of Brandt, Beyer, Wik and Aaron Daugherty. If you’re looking for the winning edge, insist upon E3 performance spark plugs for your favorite ride. Our patented DiamondFire technology will give your car, truck or motorcycle the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology that you need.

Patterson Wins Southwick WMX

After a multi-week break in the WMX Championship series, the pro women racers returned to the motocross track for Round 6 at Southwick, Massachusetts. In Moto One, Honda Red Bull Racing rider Ashley Fiolek grabbed the holeshot and an early lead in the race. Unfortunately, for Yamaha’s Jessica Patterson, there was a seven-rider pileup and the series points leader went down in turn one. Up front, Fiolek was cruising followed by fellow-Honda rider, Tarah Geiger, and the green Kawasaki of Marissa Markelon. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Sara Price was running in fifth place with a hard-charging Patterson working her way through the pack to sixth.

For the "ump-teenth" time this season, Troy Lee Designs/Honda rider Tarah Geiger stood on the third step of podium at a WMX national event. Photo courtesy of http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/2126/Motorcycle-Photo-Gallery/2010-AMA-Womens-Motocross.aspx

With half the race to go in Moto One, Price and Moto Concepts Yamaha rider Mariana Balbi were battling for fourth place. Geiger would crash while running in second, but managed to recover and only lost one position. After battling her way through the field, Patterson moved into second with just a few laps remaining. The WMX series points leader was able to chisel away at Fiolek’s lead but was unable to catch the Red Bull rider. Fiolek would take the win in Moto One followed by Patterson, and Geiger rounding out the podium in third.  Price and Balbi took fourth and fifth respectively.

The always rough and tough Moto-X 338 track showed no mercy for the ladies as unexpected crashes and tough racing would be status quo for the rest of the day. Fiolek had another great start out of the gate in Moto Two to again take the holeshot and the early race lead. However, this time Patterson had a much better start and exited turn one on the rear wheel of Fiolek. In third was Warthog Racing’s Tatum Sik followed by the Troy Lee Designs Honda of Tarah Geiger. At the close of the opening lap, Patterson’s Yamaha rocketed past the Honda of Fiolek to take the lead. Fiolek pressured her rival for the lead back, but Patterson would pull away.

Once she was out front, Patterson put her Yamaha on cruise control and claimed a Moto Two victory ahead of Fiolek and Geiger. It would be Patterson’s fifth overall victory of the 2010 WMX season.  Fiolek would finish second in the moto and second overall for the Southwick national event. Geiger would post two solid third-place finishes for third overall at the famed Moto-X 338 track. For a better burn in your engine, insist upon E3 Performance Spark Plugs for your motorcycle, car or truck. Our patented technology will deliver the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology that you need to run out front.

E3 Performance Spark Plugs Race Fans Pack Glen Helen Raceway

For the second night in a row, the grandstands at the San Bernardino track were sold-out for the big dogs in the Pro 4 Unlimited Class as E3 Performance Spark Plugs racing fans packed the Glen Helen Raceway for Round 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series. Eric Barron was starting on the front row in the LAT Racing Oil/KMC Wheels Chevrolet truck next to the #22 Hart & Huntington/Grenade Ford of Josh Merrell. Barron would take the early lead ahead of Saturday night’s runner up, Kyle LeDuc. As trucks bounced off each other through the rough rhythm section, Merrell would bring out a full-course yellow on lap three as his Hart & Huntington Ford ended up on its roof.

Pro 4 Unlimited driver Curt LeDuc took the time to pose for this Rockstar Energy Drink moment. At Glen Helen's rough short track, LeDuc flipped the #43 in turn three of Round 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Championship series. Photo courtesy of http://www.flickr.com/photos/lucasoil.

After the restart, the #99 truck of LeDuc would reclaim the point as a determined Carl Renezeder in #1 Lucas Oil/General Tire Ford began to work his way toward the front of the pack. The Traxxas/Monster Energy Toyota of series points leader Rick Huseman had moved into third behind LeDuc and Renezeder before the #31 truck of Mike Johnson spun the Monster Energy Toyota in turn four. Johnson’s aggressive driving would earn him a black flag sending the K&N Filters Ford truck to the rear of the field alongside a disappointed Huseman. After the restart, Renezeder in the #1 Lucas Oil Ford truck was quick to continue his battle with Kyle LeDuc for the lead.

On the penultimate lap of a second night of spectacular racing, Carl Renezeder would roll his #1 Lucas Oil/General Tires truck leaving local favorite Kyle LeDuc in the Makita/Toyo Tires Ford to take the win. Second place would go to a hard-charging Rick Huseman, who had worked his way through the pack after stopping to change a flat tire when Merrell rolled his truck on lap three. A well-deserved third place went to Kent Brascho in the B.F. Goodrich/Lucas Oil Chevrolet ahead of Mike Johnson’s K&N Filters Ford truck. Rounding out the top five was early race leader Eric Barron in the #3 LAT Racing Oil Chevrolet.

An unlucky Renezeder in the #1 Lucas Oil Ford recorded the fastest lap of the race and was the only driver to break the 45-second barrier on the extremely rough Glen Helen short course. The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing teams have a few weeks off to regroup before heading to Speed World Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona, for Rounds 11 and 12 on September 25-26. Only five championship rounds remain before Pro 4 Unlimited drivers compete for the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Challenge Cup scheduled for December 12 at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ. If you are looking for championship performance, insist on E3 Truck Spark Plugs for your truck.

E3′s Kevin Probst Qualifies Front Row at Glen Helen

As the final group of trucks pulled out of the pits for the Lucas Oil Off Road Truck Championship at Glen Helen Raceway, a sold-out crowd were on their feet for the start of the very popular Pro 2 Unlimited class. Round 10 saw the MasterCraft/Rockstar Ford of Robbie Pierce starting on the front row alongside the E3 Spark Plugs Racing truck of multi-time champion Kevin Probst. This was the best starting position of the season for the #9 Chevrolet of Probst who has been plagued with gremlins and mechanical woes throughout 2010.

E3 Spark Plug's Kevin Probst put his #9 Chevrolet truck on the front row for Round 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road championship series event at Glen Helen Raceway outside San Bernardino, CA. Photo courtesy of Lucas Oil Racing http://www.flickr.com/photos/lucasoil.

Robbie Pierce would grab an early lead but lots of lap-one action and a very rough track would leave the MasterCraft/Rockstar Ford on its roof in the track’s rhythm section bringing out a red flag. Emergency workers attended to Pierce who was visibly shaken after his spectacular flip and was taken to a local hospital for precaution. The Canidae Chevrolet of Jeff Geiser grabbed the lead on the restart but points leader Rob MacCachren wasted no time in working past Geiser. When the mandatory competition yellow flew, it was MacCachren, Ricky Johnson, Bryce Menzies, Carl Renezeder, and Geiser in first through fifth.

The #7 Bully Dog Ford truck of Menzies got by Johnson on the restart when the former AMA motocross champion pulled his Traxxas/Red Bull Ford off track with a mechanical failure. Johnson’s retirement would be the sign of things to come as trucks were crashing and breaking all the way around the rough San Bernardino track. In fact, Menzies would pull off just before the white flag leaving only six trucks to finish the full 20-lap race distance. Renezeder took second behind MacCrachren, with Greg Adler in third and Rogero Ampudia in fourth.

The E3 Spark Plugs racing team has a few weeks off to regroup before heading to the Speed World Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona, for Rounds 11 and 12 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series on September 25-26. There are only five championship rounds remaining before drivers compete for the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Challenge Cup scheduled for December 12 at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ. Canard Captures Lucas Oil AMA 250cc Championship

E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs fans lined the track for the final 250cc round of the 2010 AMA Lucas Oil MX Pro National Championship this weekend at Pala Raceway Park just west of San Diego, CA. With back-to-back moto wins at Steel City MX the week before, Oklahoma’s Trey Canard had pulled within seven points of series point’s leader Christophe Pourcel. The Frenchman had high hopes for this year’s AMA finale having lost the 2009 Lites title to Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey after an unexpected mechanical failure sidelined his Pro Circuit Kawasaki in the penultimate race of the season.

Geico Powersports Honda's Trey Canard dominated the second half of the 2010 AMA Lucas Oil MX Pro National Championship to claim his first outdoor title in the 250cc Lites class with a third place overall finish at Pala Raceway Park. Photo courtesy of www.treycanard.com.

At the starting gate for Moto One, both Pourcel and Canard both knew they needed to beat each other to ensure their shot at winning the Lucas Oil AMA MX Lites National Championship. Pro Circuit rookie Dean Wilson grabbed the holeshot ahead of Troy Lee Designs Honda rider Cole Seely and teammate Tyla Rattray. Pourcel and Canard would pass Seely. Canard would out brake Pourcel through a corner but crashed on the exit virtually assuring Pourcel would win the championship. But, with a twist of fate, a few laps later Pourcel was picking himself off the ground with a dislocated shoulder that would end his day and all hope for a championship.

The Lucas Oil race fans and most of the talented AMA 250cc riders were still dazed by the events of the first moto when the gate dropped on the final race of the day. Canadian Dean Wilson would again take the lead and would again lead from start to finish claiming his second overall win of the 2010 national season. A cautious Canard would settle in behind South African rider Tyla Rattray safely following the Kawasaki home for third overall and third on the day. Wilson’s overall was the rookie’s second victory of the year matching his teammates Pourcel and Rattray who also won twice this season.

After the race, an exuberant Canard climbed the podium to receive the coveted #1 number plate for winning the 2010 AMA Lucas Oil MX Pro Championship in the 250cc Lites class. Unfortunately, for 250cc fans, Canard will not defend his Lites’ title as the Honda rider has already announced plans to move up and challenge for the 450cc crown in 2011. E3 race fans are eager to see if Canard can compete with Suzuki’s Dungey in the premier MX class. If you are looking for championship performance from your street or dirt bike, insist upon E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs. E3 delivers the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology needed for today’s high performance 4-stroke engines.

E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs Salutes Ryan Dungey on Another New Record

E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs fans salute Rockstar Makita Suzuki rider Ryan Dungey on setting yet another AMA Lucas Oil MX Pro National record. The cream of the 450cc crop throughout 2010 became the first rookie motocross racer in history to win 10 of the 12 championship rounds. Week after week, Dungey defeated the world’s best riders in the world’s most prestigious motocross championship. He certainly left little doubt that he is currently the “Best of the Best” by winning the final national at Pala MX Raceway Park outside San Diego, CA, this past weekend.

Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey claimed another AMA Lucas Oil MX Pro record becoming the first rookie in series history to win 10 rounds in the same National Championship season. Photo courtesy of www.ryandungey.com

Red Bull Honda rider Andrew Short is always a sure bet for the holeshot at the start of any AMA national. Once again, it was Short out front early with Yamaha/MotoConcepts rider Ryan Sipes in second ahead of Dungey and Honda’s Brett Metcalfe. Once again, Dungey would twist the throttle and take the lead. Metcalfe would protect his second place in the 450cc point’s championship by passing Short later in Moto One dropping the Red Bull Honda rider to third. Sipes would hold on to fourth after battling with an aggressive young Texan, Kyle Regal.

The start of Moto Two was “almost a surprise” in that Short was outraced through the first corner by a determined Brett Metcalfe. The Aussie has often had the speed this season at the start and the finish but hasn’t always stayed upright during the middle of the moto. Short would stay in the chase but both he and Metcalfe would watch Dungey pull away, yet again. Several factory teams have brought in former World Champions (even Yamaha’s Bubba Stewart) to challenge Dungey’s dominance but the Rockstar Makita rider has shown them all the backside of his Suzuki.

Dungey would cruise home for the win leaving the pair of Honda riders to battle amongst themselves for second on the day and second place in the AMA Lucas Oil 450cc national points standing. Although Short would pass Metcalfe, the Geico Powersports rider would finish third ahead of fellow Aussie, Ben Townley. Yamaha riders Kyle Chisholm and Ryan Sipes would finish fifth and sixth respectively. Metcalfe’s third overall at Pala allowed the Honda rider to maintain a 3-point lead for second place in the 450cc MX national championship.

Dungey’s historic win put the crowning touches on what was the most surprising 450cc outdoor MX national season in years. Suzuki’s Dungey will join fellow American racers Trey Canard (Geico Powersports Honda) and Andrew Short (Red Bull Honda) as the United States team tries to sweep the Trophy Des Nations at Lakewood MX in Denver, CO, in two weeks. If you are looking for a winning combination for your car, truck or motorcycle engine, insist upon E3 car spark plugs as an eco-friendly option for your favorite ride. Our patented DiamondFire Technology will deliver the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology that you need.

E3 Spark Plugs Racing Fans Packed Glen Helen Raceway

The E3 Spark Plugs Racing fans turned out in record numbers for Round 9 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Truck National Championship at Glen Helen Raceway. Located at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, Glen Helen Raceway has hosted some of the best off road races in history in both two-wheel and four-wheel categories. This year was no exception as sold-out crowds watched the best drivers in the world end up on their roof trying to find the fastest lines around one of the roughest tracks on the national circuit.

Josh Merrell thought he was racing down under when the #22 Hart and Huntington Ford took a tumble in front of a sold-out crowd at Glen Helen Raceway. Photo courtesy of Lucas Oil Racing http://www.flickr.com/photos/lucasoil/

As the truly standing room crowd awaited the start of the Pro 4 Unlimited class, the top two qualifiers, Rick Huseman and Carl Renezeder, were sent to the back row having missed the mandatory driver’s meeting early in the day. That would put the #99 Rockstar/Circle K Ford truck of Kyle LeDuc on the front row alongside Adrian Cenni in the #11 BF Goodrich Tires Chevrolet. LeDuc took an early lead as the Traxxas/Monster Energy Toyota of Huseman was heading to the front.

Renezeder would bring out a full course caution after putting his #1 Lucas Oil/General Tire Ford on its side after the un-rhythm section before turn three. On the restart, local fan favorite Huseman charged to third place behind LeDuc and Cenni. He would later get by Cenni and took advantage of a LeDuc mistake that saw the Rockstar Ford truck land on all four after rolling over in the deep ruts. LeDuc would rally late to pressure the Toyota truck of Huseman for the lead but Huseman would claim his seventh victory in nine races. LeDuc held on for second ahead of Cenni in third.

If you are looking for peak performance from your truck, insist upon E3 truck spark plugs for the road or the track. E3 plugs are the only spark plugs named by the Environmental Protection Agency as an eco-friendly device. The E3 technology offers a clear advantage in Hydrocarbon and Carbon emissions control while at the same time improving your truck’s power and fuel economy. E3 spark plugs burn fuel more completely in the cylinder and put less pollution into the air. Let our patented DiamondFire Technology deliver the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology that you need.

E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs Fans Cheer as Windham Wins

E3 Motorcycle Spark Plugs fans love an upset win especially when the winner is one of the legends of the sport. Red Bull Honda rider Kevin Windham had the 450cc MX field covered at the Steel City Raceway for Round 11 of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro MX National Championship. The veteran motocross racer, who had not won an AMA outdoor national since 2007, has always been a fan favorite. After having retired from outdoor competition, Windham got “the call” from the factory Honda team to replace injured Red Bull rider Davi Milsaps. Some thought Red Bull’s move was just an easy way to add a popular rider under the tent to sign autographs for loyal motocross fans. Undoubtedly, Windham had different aspirations.

Veteran Honda rider Kevin Windham (and daughter) hold a post-race press conference. Windham showed the same speed at Delmont that won him the AMA National at Steel City Raceway back 2001 Photo courtesy of Geico Powersports http://powersports.honda.com/

The biggest news came earlier in the week when Rockstar Makita Suzuki team manager Roger DeCoster announced that he would be leaving after 15 years at the helm of the factory’s MX racing program. The shocking press release appeared just days after Ryan Dungey became the first rookie motocross racer in history to capture the AMA Supercross and Motocross national championships in an inaugural season. DeCoster hasn’t confirmed his plans for the 2011 AMA Lucas Oil season but rumors have it that the former multi-time World Motocross Champion may be headed to KTM. In keeping with “Silly Season” news, it was also rumored that Dungey may want out of his 2011 contract with Suzuki to take a long-term deal with another team.

To nobody’s surprise, Honda/Red Bull rider Andrew Short pulled the holeshot in Moto One with Geico Powersports’s Brett Metcalfe close behind. However, the other Red Bull rider, Kevin Windham, was already working his way to the front. Windham left no doubt in the fans’ mind as to why he was Honda’s first choice as the replacement for the factory ride. After Dungey crashed on the opening lap, Windham would pass Short and Metcalfe on his way to one of the most popular wins of his stellar career. Metcalfe would hold on for second place and his hard-charging teammate and fellow Aussie, Ben Townley, would finish in third place ahead of Short. Yamaha’s Justin Brayton continued to show improvement finishing fifth in the opening moto at Steel City Raceway.

In Moto Two, all eyes would be on the newly-crowned national champion Dungey (who had finished 40th in Moto One after breaking a brake rotor and retiring early). Andrew Short would again put his Red Bull factory Honda out front at the start. However, this day belonged to Windham who passed his teammate Short to take the lead in Moto Two. Around mid-race, Dungey would pass Windham for the moto win. But, Windham’s second place was good enough to claim the overall win ahead of Metcalfe, Brayton and Short. Eighteen-year old Nick Paluzzi, was given an opportunity to race the last two AMA outdoor nationals with the Muscle Milk/Toyota Team (after Josh Grant elected to have season-ending shoulder surgery) and finished a respectable seventh overall in his debut aboard the Joe Gibbs Racing Yamaha.

The 450cc MX teams travel to the west coast for next weekend’s final round of the 2010 outdoor season at Pala Raceway. Located just east of San Deigo, CA, the Pala motocross facility features one of the first tracks in the nation that was built to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) standards. As E3 Spark Plugs Racing fans know, the EPA lists E3 car spark plugs as an eco-friendly option. If you are looking for a greener alternative for your car, truck or motorcycle engine, insist upon E3 replacement spark plugs for your favorite ride. Our patented DiamondFire Technology will deliver the Energy, Efficiency and Ecology that you need.
