E3 Spark Plugs and Probst Motorsports are partnering up for the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series presented by GEICO Power Sports for the 2009 tour.

Rushing to make the event in time, Kevin and Jon Probst participated in the inaugural event in Primm, NV, on April 4th & 5th. “It was a last minute decision to go west and race the opener for E3 Spark Plugs,” said Kevin Probst. “We were not planning to race this early in the year but when Lucas Oil and E3 Spark Plugs asked us out, we were delighted.”

The team is now preparing to make the remaining LOORS events a complete success. “We have had support from Lucas Oil for many years, but being able to have our team tied into the growth and efforts of the Lucas Oil Company and Team Lucas is phenomenal. We are looking forward to continuing with our 2008 Primary Partner, E3 Spark Plugs, as well as the addition of Super Clean products. The excitement we feel for 2009 is great,” said Kevin.

The team will race the full schedule of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Series, and plans to attend several other events throughout the 2009 summer season.

Team Lucas partner, E3 Sparkplugs, will be presenting a considerably enhanced winner payout to three marquis truck classes for the June 27th and 28th rounds at Lake Elsinore. E3 Sparkplugs, developer and marketer of a superior, powerful and ecologically friendly line of automotive, power sports and lawn & garden spark plugs, will provide $10,000 each day to the winners in both Unlimited 2 and Unlimited 4, as well $5,000 for second place and $2,500 to the third-place finisher.

The Unlimited Lite winner will be presented a check for $5,000, with $3,000 and $1,500 to second and third, respectively. In addition, a $500 prize will be presented to a randomly selected driver from the finishing field in all three truck classes.

E3 Spark Plugs, creator and producer of a leading brand of high performance and fuel efficient spark plugs, will bolster the elite Super Modified Tractor division in the nationally televised Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League for the 2009 season.

The E3 Spark Plugs Super Modified Tractor sponsorship will create an increase in the payouts for each event by nearly thirty percent over current structures in the most powerful division in the professional sport of pulling.  This division, which can utilize up to four automotive, or three jet/turbine engines per vehicle, will be making 17 appearances at 10 different event locations in the 2009 season with the first appearance taking place May 1st and 2nd in Concord, North Carolina. There will be other events to follow in locations including Wisconsin, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri, New York, and others.
